At the Breastfeeding Center of The Vine Pediatrics and Lactation, we are here to help you achieve your breastfeeding, pumping, or chestfeeding goals through evidence-based medicine.
Our practice is unique because you will receive superior in-home comprehensive, diagnostic care and treatment from a pediatrician and lactation consultant
(1 of 3 in the Houston area with both certifications).

Consultation Options
Prenatal Consultation
A 60 minute visit involving instruction on basics of breastfeeding, positioning, latching, and Q&A
Initial Postpartum Consultation
A 90 minute visit involving evaluation and instruction with latching, expressing, concerns, and Q&A in your home. We recommend to schedule this visit for the infant's first week of life.
Follow-up Postpartum Consultation
A 45-60 minute additional visit after the initial post-partum consultation has been completed. This visit can be done in your home or through a virtual visit.
Return to Work Consultation
A 45-60 minute visit to involving instruction on pumping, handling and storage of milk, bottle feeding, and Q&A. This visit can be done in your home or through a virtual visit.
TONGUE-TIE RELEASE
Tongue-Tie Release procedure (Frenectomy) completed in the home. Parents can be present. Infant can breastfeed immediately afterwards. Includes after-care and bodywork instruction.
